This tour takes you to some of Jerusalem’s best locations to experience the magic and beauty of the city its different vantage points, hidden places that will take your breath away. As we travel from one landmark to the next, we will be passing by and visiting several key sites in the Old City, including its main quarters, markets, religious sites, and attractions. From the Mount of Olives to the Old City of Jerusalem, this unique tour touches on the history, culture, and people and offers you bird’s eye view of the city from some the best hidden vantage points.

Highlights

  • 1. Mount of Olives: take a breath taking view of Jerusalem. You will learn about the history and complexity of the city while enjoying a panoramic view of Jerusalem and the Old City.
  • 2.The Kidron Valley and we will enter the Old City of Jerusalem through Lions’ Gate.
  • 3. Muslim Quarter, passing the first few stations of the Via Dolorosa (Way of Sorrows).
  • 4. The Austrian Hospice (Our second vantage point): We will take the elevator to the roof terrace and enjoy the amazing views of the Old City and Mount of Olives, and will also be able to experience the majesty of the mountains of Jordan if the weather permits.
  • 5. Khan al-Sultan ( built in the 14th Century) our third, vantage point. We will take the stairs to the roof of this impressive building and enjoy the views offered.
  • 6. Mousa Afandi Interpretation Center, opened in late 2018, where you will get the chance to learn about the complexity of the city throughout its history to the present day. You can also engage in virtual reality interactive activities and other augmented reality experiences.
  • 7. Papa Andreas restaurant in the Christian Quarter- our forth vantage point: will have a light lunch and drinks while enjoying the views of the Old City.
  • 8. After lunch, we will make our way to Jaffa Gate and begin our tour on the Rampart Walk, heading south along the Old City walls and passing the Armenian and Jewish quarters.
  • 9. The roof of the Cenacle or the Last Supper Room—our fifth vantage point.
  • 10. From there, we will take our tour bus and travel south to our final view point at the Tayelet Haas Promenade, after which we will travel back to Jaffa Gate where the tour ends.
